Dr Robert Joselyn is one of the world’s foremost experts in travel agency consultancy and service fees. He is also president and CEO of Travel Agency Management Solutions (TAMS), a leading financial and operating data benchmarking service.
Dr Joselyn's past and present clients have ranged from smaller travel firms to a who’s who list of the travel industry including thousands of travel agencies such as AAA, American Express, Ensemble, Carlson Wagonlit, Virtuoso, Signature Travel Network (LTG), MAST, Uniglobe and many more around the world, as well as leading suppliers.
He has given more than 2,000 management and training presentations across the industry and his views and articles have appeared in countless publications.
Prior to establishing his own marketing and management consulting organisation in 1985, Bob spent eight years in management positions within the travel industry including travel agency ownership and consortia management.
Before entering the travel industry, he served on the Marketing Faculty of the University of Denver. He holds a Doctorate in Marketing and Operations Research in addition to an M.B.A. and an undergraduate degree in engineering and is the author of seven books, including Mastering The Art of Collaborative Selling. He is also featured in two video training programmes including the recently-updated video set entitled “Service Fees: Making Them Work”.
