Founder, Bridge & Wickers After travelling extensively around the world, Jerry Bridge created the successful travel company Bridge The World in 1989, winning the coveted 'Outstanding Contribution to the Australian Tourism Industry by an Individual' award from the Australian Tourist Commission in 2004. After selling the company to an online travel specialist ebookers, Jerry decided to channel his experience into a new venture in partnership with travel writer David Wickers and as a result, the luxury tailor-made tour operator, Bridge & Wickers was born in 2005. Originally focusing on Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific, the programme has now expanded to cover Canada, Asia and Africa. Bridge & Wickers recently cleared the board at Tourism Australia's very own 'OZcars' scooping four awards including Travel Company of the Year. |
